The Operations Manager oversees management of all areas of manufacturing to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are safely manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.



What we offer

Point of accountability for the execution of business results that are focused on Manufacturing’s key performance measures (reliability, safety, quality, productivity)
Participate on Plant Leadership Team to help set strategic direction for the plant
Accountable for continued improvements in products, processes and resource (people) development
Work with and understand corporate initiatives utilizing R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, and Engineering
Support Area/Team Managers in the administration of plant and corporate policies
Take ownership for the personal growth and professional development of direct reports by soliciting feedback, getting involved in plant/corporate initiatives and projects, and developing career plans
Shape department culture and structure to drive continuous improvement
Compliance of all plant operations with company policy and federal, state and local regulations with the support and guidance of corporate SHEQ authorities


Who we are looking for

BS/BA degree (preference for Engineering)
7 to 10 years of increasing Manufacturing/Product Supply experience
Strong planning and priority setting skills • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to coach and develop management team
Excellent leadership skills (conflict resolution, facilitation, change management skills, decision making, empowerment, delegation)
Ability to lead strategic planning and goal setting to maximize business results
Advanced business and administrative knowledge (case cost, budgets, investment proposals, plant/corporate policies, etc.)
Strong PC skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and database applications
