POSITION PROFILE
Provides leadership, training, and direction of IAM’s to ensure contract compliance and employee development at the site level. Oversees implementation of and compliance to national procedures.Oversees and ensures account invoices and interacts with customer to ensure expectations are being met. The Operations Manager manages greater than $500K in monthly billings. This position is a key member of the marketplace management team.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures assignments correctly and in accordance with company performance standards.
Ensures contracts are managed according to company standards, client specifications & customer requirements, by effectively supervising assigned personnel and validation of service quality.
Manages marketplace labor costs.
Maintains efficient operation by holding direct reports accountable for quality & efficiency of work.
Ultimately responsible for contract compliance, HR compliance, and financial compliance.
Meets training objectives and follows up on employee training progress and performance.
Clearly communicates job expectations/consequences of employees by training, cross-training, coaching, counseling, directing, evaluating the work of subordinates to increase their performance and work quality.
Makes employee safety a daily focus by designating an employee representative to the safety committee and following recommendation of the company’s Injury Management Program.
Takes ownership of employee performance by ensuring regularly scheduled coaching time for Operations Manager and Integrated Account Managers to work with marginal performers.
Maintains adequate and quality personnel by interviewing, hiring, and by doing performance reviews; ensuring internal job openings are posted.
Motivates employees and recognizes accomplishments in a timely manner.
Maintains positive internal working relationships with all department employees by communicating in a professional manner and by providing constructive feedback.
Promotes an environment of integrity and responsibility in the workplace by creating a work environment where they “lead by example.”
Coordinates and implements contract pricing escalators to assigned account base.
Completes required reports and other paperwork.
Responsible for managing financial results by interpreting projecting, managing declining balances and reconciling profit and loss statement.
Responsible for managing P&L.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications) 4-year college degree is preferred; or equivalent experience in related field.
Prior management experience is preferred.
Requires experience in setting goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives.
Requires proven track record of leadership and integrity by possessing 5-7 years of related experience in production; 2+ years P&L responsibility; extensive supervisory experience.
Requires experience in training by delivering classroom and informal training sessions.
Possesses experience in a team environment by maintaining positive, productive relationships with co-workers, peers, management, sales, and production departments.
