The Head and Neck Institute / Otolaryngology is seeking an Operations Manager. This position will report directly to the division administrator and indirectly to the division chief. The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Head and Neck Division faculty practice, including operations, compliance, and patient care coordination.

The position requires excellent communication, supervisory experience and the ability to manage complex information in a fast paced environment. The ability to work diplomatically and collaboratively with all levels of staff and Hospital leadership is essential. Candidates must have a proven ability to manage and lead staff in a changing environment, the ability to establish realistic and achievable priorities and the ability to lead staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Candidate must have surgical practice management experience.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelors Degree or 10 years private surgical practice experience.

EXPERIENCES AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED

Four to five years surgical office management experience. Otolaryngology preferred.

Computer proficiency in word processing and database software.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully interact with all levels of hierarchy within the practice and facility.
