Our client, a major international bank with offices in Jersey City is seeking an Operations Planning Analyst – Associate level to join the Operations Planning and Control Group. The ideal candidate must have experience leading and controlling projects, and possess the skill to manage and coordinate budgets for each project. This person should have an overall knowledge of banking and back office operations, in addition to strong presentation skills. Our client is offering a competitive salary plus bonus.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage and control projects and initiatives
- Manage and coordinate budgets for each project
- Perform strategic planning and promote initiatives to reduce operational risk and increase efficiencies
- Conduct research and analysis
- Produce reports, rules, policies and presentation material
- Identify issues, analyze root cause, plan, and implement solutions
- Support ad hoc projects as assigned by Management
Job Requirements:
· 4+ years of operations planning experience at a financial institution
· Business analyst or project management experience
· Background in managing and coordinating budgets
· Strong business analysis and documentation skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Overall knowledge of banking and back office operations
· Bachelor’s Degree is required
