Operations Research/Systems Analyst (ORSA) SME

Capstone's Military Civil Operations Division is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual who can offer Operations Research Systems Analyst expertise, skills, and experience to support the Fires and Effects Division for Third Army Headquarters, Fort McPherson, GA.

• Provide analytical support, assessments, planning, advice and recommendations in support of USARCENT operational and exercise training requirements.
• Train and mentor USARCENT staff with best practice methods and tools to achieve timely, in-depth analysis and modeling techniques.
• Review, test, and integrate new methods and simulation techniques implementing these tools into the ongoing planning, training and assessment initiatives as required.
• Provide analytical expertise to plan, coordinate and conduct analysis related to modeling and assessments of USARCENT mission activity in the USARCENT AOR.
• Provide expertise to develop, integrate and implement decision support techniques throughout the command as well as development of a comprehensive campaign objective assessment that associates strategic and operational goals with major tasks.
• Use modeling and simulation techniques to measure and present the progress towards achieving strategic and operational objectives in the respective assessments.
• Provide effects assessments in support of all phases of an operation including, but not limited to, campaign assessments, country assessments, and contingency assessments.
• Conduct regular coordination with the USARCENT and USCENTCOM staff to support and improve ongoing planning and assessment initiatives as required.
• Support USARCENT headquarters in support of training exercises.
• Provide contractor advisory and assistance services for the directorate.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Ten (10) years of related experience.
• Graduated from an Operations Research/Systems Analysis Course.
• Must be capable of travel/deployment for periods of time overseas (throughout USARCENT assigned AOR) in support of exercise requirements with little to no notice.
• Must be able to live under field conditions in hostile or hazardous duty zones in the AOR under extreme climate conditions.
• Must be able to communicate in public forums.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft office suite computer programs.
• Must possess a collegiate-level writing ability.
• Must be able to acquire an official passport and visas for country(ies) required.
