The essential responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor/Manager are to oversee the day to day production and warehouse operations. Production support responsibilities include quality metrics, client SLAs, customer deliverables, employee scheduling, training, customer service, and new client introduction. Continuous improvement responsibilities include software testing support, layout planning, root cause analysis, improvement recommendations, utilization forecasts, and benchmarking. Security responsibilities include employee login security and security compliance. General administrative responsibilities include operation efficiency, employee performance, managing lead performance, vendor administration, supplies management, client billing, hiring and terminating, and managing temporary staffing. Reporting responsibilities include incident reports, accident reports, quality & metric reports, and DDS operational procedures.
Performs other duties as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to guide employees in achieving individual productivity goals, while at the same time meeting or exceeding all production and or financial goals. Ability to develop Team Leads for supervisory positions. Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. Must be able to communicate with customers or DealerTrack staff on the phone or in person. Knowledge of all DDS operational procedures. Must be able to have a flexible work schedule, travel as needed, work holidays and be on call if needed. Must be able to work without direct supervision. Ability to make sure all SLA requirements are being met daily. Ability to manage all costs and efficiency and committed to continuous improvements. Knowledge of prescan, scan, validation, archive, returns, and related customer service functions.
MUST be willing to work 3rd shift.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or the equivalent required, plus 4-5 years general production or comparable employment experience, including at least one year in a team lead role.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibility for the Team Leads, Production Operators, and Quality Control Operators.
