What we offer



The Ops Technician ensures compliance with department housekeeping standards, transfer finished product, clean and sanitize holding/batching vessels, clean and sanitize transfer equipment, and sample residual bulk as required. Transfers finished products to holding tanks, drums, and portable tanks. Perform line hook ups along with all other tasks required to ensure finished product to the packaging department including but not limited to pigging, filling hot water portables, shuttling batches (hot and cold). Display the ability to work in all areas in the department (alcohol, perms, hair colors, and wet goods). Consistently perform at a high level in accordance to priorities set by department supervisors / managers.  


Work in a Safe and Responsible manner with all areas and functions. Report any unsafe conditions. Submit Near Misses on potential unsafe conditions/behaviors.
Have open communication with Supervisors and Mechanics to ensure priorities are set and followed. Help improve the communication between Compounding & Production through ideas and suggestions.
Prepare, change, and sanitize compounding equipment including hose, pumps, homogenizers, tanks, and portable vessels.
Set-Up filter and homogenize transfers. Sample initial and end samples to the QA lab to ensure batch quality.
Replaces filters and other maintenance activities to ensure batch quality.
Perform line cleaning, sanitizations and hook ups including assembling materials to be used.
Resample and transfer batches as necessary.
Calculate batch yield, complete warehouse transactions to create license plates and locate bulk material.
Perform Level 2 Cleanings of tanks and pumps.
Offload Bulk Tankers as required by shift and need.
Correctly label and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Maintain and clean work area including floors, walls, and paint as required.
Complete standard work documentation to ensure the compliance to departmental standards.
Ensure top priority batches are being worked on as they become available, while working on other batches as they continue to monitor the top prior

Qualification:

Who we are looking for


High School Diploma/HSE strongly preferred, or 6+ months Zotos Geneva experience required.
Must be lift truck certified.
The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required.
Temperature of the work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining.
Noise level in the work environment is normal to moderate. 
Some overtime may be required.
Regular attendance is required.
The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally this position may require the lifting and/or moving of more than 55 pounds. All lifting must comply with OSHA standards.
