OPERATIONS TRADE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Be part of an entrepreneurial environment! Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Analyzes paperwork for mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities, and brokerage new business and ensures broker has recommended appropriate products for the client based on the clients investment objectives. Works with the broker to resolve any issues.
- For retirement accounts, reviews for accuracy, obtains beneficiary information if needed. Copies information for national office.
- Once an account is established, places individual securities trades via our clearing agent at the request of a customer or broker. Verifies identify prior to trade.
- Maintains client database and files.
- Provides operational support to our Financial Consultants, Licensed Bankers and Registered Licensed Bankers in the form of research on customer accounts. Run Anti-Money Laundering search and Customer Indentification Protection searches on all customer accounts.
- Provides timely research and resolution of clients inquiries.
- Tracks outstanding and recurring issues.
- Provides general account service and maintenance.
We are seeking talented individuals with the following qualifications:
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; and a minimum of three years experience and/or training in the brokerage industry required;
- Series 7 licensed, Series 24 a plus or the ability to obtain the Series 24 within 6 months of employment;
- Familiar with numerous investment/insurance company applications and brokerage account paperwork. Strong paperwork skills a MUST;
- Strong commitment and dedication to client service;
- Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to balance and prioritize many tasks;
- General understanding of brokerage operations and basic industry knowledge.
