This position reports to an Operations Executive in a successful General Contractor / Construction Management company. Targeted support will be essentially for Field and Operations Management (Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Superintendents, Craft Foremen and Craft Workers) in Florida, North and South Carolina, and Georgia.
Primary Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to) coordinating internal and external training schedules, employee attendance and recordkeeping using ABRA. Essentially, the incumbent will be providing administrative support to various Operations Managers and assisting in addressing the management identified training needs of the various Operations organizations.
A key area of responsibility includes the skills training, and the development and ongoing support of a robust SME Network of internal trainers through assistance with training plan development, co-training assistance, and maintaining complete records of same.
Administration of a "skills audit" and/or "training delivery audit" program to assure the highest quality training programs are consistently and routinely delivered is included.
Background and Experience Required for this position include a minimum of a 2 year degree (4 year degree preferred) and 5+ years experience in a fast paced, multi-location construction or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience training skilled craft workers and coordinating training programs for professional Engineers and Managers is required.
Must have experience working extensively with adult learners in a results oriented business environment. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Experience with Contract Manager (Expedition) Software; Timberline Financial Software; Primavera Planning Software; LEED AP Test Preparation; and Construction Skills including Blue Print Reading; Surveying; Pipe Fitting; Form Carpentry; and Concrete Finishing would be extremely beneficial.
