1.      Project Implementation

  • Can identify resources/support, stakeholders who can influence and implement decisions regarding the business application

  • Participates in process improvement meetings with Allstate Enterprise and other service centers and channels.  Assist with training employees and developing measurements to evaluate the effectiveness of the business applications

2.      Provides technical support
  • Provides technical support, reviews existing procedures/processes, and recommends and implements process improvement for assigned area

  • Assist with identifying training needs and conduct training. Assist with the development of technical training material

  • Maintains and executes the Business Continuity Plans for assigned area

3.      Implement and/or monitor audit/compliance controls
  • Reviews existing processes in assigned areas for audit/compliance control

  • Identify education/training resources for front line employees on internal processes and audit requirements

  • Conduct audit reviews for assigned area, analyze results, implement corrective action that prevent the re-occurrence of compliance issues

4.      Develop/maintain effective working relationships both internal and external
  • Responds to routine inquiries or problems with increasing complexity

  • Coordinate/ and conduct meetings to meet identified objectives 

  • Establish effective partnerships with vendors to work together to resolve operational concerns and achieve business results.  Assist in the selection, purchasing process and implementation of new vendor technology that will enhance operational processes

6.      Manage Human Resources


  • Assign/establish job duties and responsibilities for unit employees

  • Establish/communicate work procedures and job performance standards

  • Conduct checkpoint meetings for performance and recommend Performance Development Summaries, merit increases, promotions, transfers

  • Interview and recommend qualified applicants

7.      Communicates Information


  • Attends/conducts meetings to provide and receive both routine and complex information, reports, changes in procedures
