About the Job

This growing Client is a Mercedes quality global medical device company active in the areas of advanced cutting edge medical device products. The Company designs, manufactures, markets and services a wide range of proprietary products, which can significantly improve medical, surgical or clinical outcomes while reducing the overall cost of health care.  Due to the company's expanding product development efforts, the company has tasked me to find them a talented Operations or Production Manager!


Qualified candidates will have the following skill sets and/or management experience:

  • Experience managing CNC Machining and employees.  This includes finishing processes and outside processes coordinated with customers.
  • Experience managing inventory used in planning including responsibility for inventory accuracy, materials management worker, and maintaining traceability.
  • Understand processes for Quality Assurance, operating procedures, non-conforming materials, corrective & preventive action process, and quality auditing.
  • The ability to maintain Safety Stock, planning out assembly hours, equipment, material resources required for daily sales needs. 

 

The following Qualifications or experience are helpful but not required:

  • Understanding of FDA (GMP) manufacturing requirements and the understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in Aerospace, Medical Device, Biotech, or engineering industry experience is desirable.
  • Oversee process improvement, equipment performance and working conditions/​safety.​  Interview, hire, orientate, train and evaluate staff.​ 
  • The ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive attitude.
  • The ability to completely maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and provide leadership and sound business judgment.


You would need 2+ years Operations or Production experience in a Manufacturing of tight tolerance products.  A college degree or related vocational training is preferred.  The ability to interpret technical instructions, operate a variety of equipment, to work independently and organize and/or prioritize tasks to meet required deadlines is helpful.​
