Operator Technician Needed for Pilot Plant!
About the Job
One of TAD Technical's TOP Client's is seeking an Operator Technician for a 3 month contract position. The candidate will perform the following job duties throughout a pilot plant:
Take gauge readings throughout a pilot plant.
Collect gas and liquid samples throughout pilot plant.
Simple sample preparation duties.
Perform various chemical experiments and laboratory functions, may include occasionally washing glassware and cleanup around laboratory.
Example of work for laboratory experiments includes making standards gravimetrically, setting and monitoring gas flows, monitoring chemical engineering process experiments by liquid and gas sampling and conducting analytical work after training.
Work includes handling piping, fetching parts, equipment assembly, and other jobs: working with mechanical equipment at pilot plant, modifying parts and apparatus, maintain equipment, and other work as assigned.
Work on 12 hour rotating shift as project is a 24/7 operation.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma required,The need is for someone who has interest and skills in chemical process.
Mechanical aptitude needed.
Basic equipment vocabulary and handling required.
Must be alert and have adequate skills to accept verbal and written instructions, to indentify process lines from a drawing, and then find the component on the plant.
Chemical safety is a priority.
Sampling requires wearing a respirator.
This position requires the person to work on 12 hour rotating shifts. Some overtime may be required. Pay rate is $14/hr - $18/hr based on experience and education. Interested applicants please email Louis at louis.rivera@tadresources.com
