Oncology RN's Needed for Contract Positions for Outpatient Facility in Central, NJ

Contract Assignments- Day Shifts!!

Responsibilities:

• Performs thorough assessment on assigned cancer patients
• Collaborates with physicians, Tumor Study Group Coordinators, Research Nurses, other health team members
• Meets patient care needs, provides assistance to other team members and responds to changing needs of the environment.
• Monitors/evaluates toxicities secondary to chemotherapy. Anticipates problems that might arise in frequently occurring clinical situations
• Administers chemotherapy, biological, investigational agents, blood/blood products and supportive care therapies
• Performs effectively in life-threatening situations by identifying emergent problems and initiating appropriate interventions
