Optical Manager
About the Job
This progressive, private Vision Source Optometric practice is seeking a person to oversee its optical dept. We are looking for someone intuitive, reliable with excellent organizational skills, professional sales ability, experience or certification and loves working with people. Job duties include patient education, assist with frame and lens selection, process lens orders, verify finished product and dispense, repairs and adjustments. Also responsible for purchasing and tracking all frame and optical product inventory and optical displays in and around the office. We use high quality state of the art products to fill in-house as well as outside Rxs. That includes major name brand frames, lens materials and lens upgrades. All lab work is done by professional labs. Presently we have 1 FT Optometrist on staff and 1 Ophthalmologist 2 days per month. We are able to offer a team work environment, 4 day work week(M-Th), health ins, matching fund retirement plan, and paid off-time. We also provide assistance with continuing education.
