Job Responsibilities:

  • Sells Optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting and repairing frames and lenses
  • Completes eyewear/contact lens orders; requests, reviews and processes insurance and collects payment for doctor services
  • Performs and records results of optometric pre-tests
  • Maintains the sales floor by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
  • Maintain proper inventory levels, stock merchandise and set up product displays
  • Receives and stocks merchandise in the Optical area and completes paperwork, logs and other required documentation
  • Operates cash register and processes member purchases; assists in payments, returns, refunds and exchanges
