We are seeking an opto-mechanical assembly manager for our new assembly facility. In addition to the requirements noted below, the individual must be a self starter and have managerial skills in running a department.

Must have a minimum 2 years relevant experience in:

Lens handling, alignment, and assembly, (IR and Visible)

Optical system and mechanical assembly alignment.

Detector and Camera focus / alignment.

Mechanical assembly.

Work Instruction and assembly process sheet preparation

The above skills require experience using the following tools:

Autocollimator

Interferometer.

Mechanical Indicators.

Air / Alignment Tables.

Solder Stations / Crimping Tools.

The ability to interpret technical drawings and process documentation is essential as is

 effective communication with Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers.

Additionally, experience with ISO 9001 quality management system is required, both in complying with formal quality system and as an active contributor in creating procedures and work instructions. Lean manufacturing experience and/or medical device experience is a plus.
