Responsibilities include:
- Serve as Functional Support Analyst for Oracle 11.5.9 Public Sector Financials.
- Respond to user issues regarding Accounts Payable, Purchasing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Grants Accounting.
- Gather user requirements for customizations, reports, and changes to existing functionality, and make recommendations as to the same.
- Design, plan and conduct functional testing.
- Develop test scripts and test cases for customizations.
- Organize and run user acceptance testing and obtain user sign off.
- Open and coordinate service requests with Oracle Support.
- Determine patches required and test to ensure functionality.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and manage projects and/or tasks and phases of projects.
- Mentor and train other team members and end-user community.
- Participate in future upgrades by researching changes to functionality, developing test scripts, testing changed functionality and determining impact on customizations.
- Supports design and development of Oracle Financials customizations and extensions.
- Uses Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, and Oracle Workflow for maintenance and enhancements.
- Provides technical production support for the Application Development Technical staff in development, analysis, debugging and user-support tasks.
- Acts as a technical resource for support of the end-users.
- Maintains knowledge of SCA business processes.
- Recommends technical and process improvements.
- Supports the watchdog function for Oracle Financial Applications.

Required Knowledge & Skills
Two to five years experience with Oracle 11i Financials version 11.5.9 or higher.
Must have strong functional knowledge of Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets and General Ledger.
Public Sector experience highly desired.
Functional knowledge of System Administration and Grants Accounting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with clients, development staff, peers and management personnel.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the nature of user support and business processes.
Good technical knowledge of AP, PO, Assets, GL and GMS (3 years).
Good experience in the design and development of Oracle Financials customizations and extensions, especially for AP, PO and GMS (3 years).
Good PL/SQL experience and skills (3 years)
Good Developer (Forms, Reports) skills and experience in development of custom Oracle Forms applications (6i and above) (3 years).
Oracle advanced queue experience (2 years)
Oracle workflow experience (2 years)
Good application development skills in distributed database environment (including Oracle, with other databases, such as Sybase, SQL Server) (3 years)
Knowledge of MS Office Tools - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Preferred:
J2EE Development and XML development (XML, XSD, XSLT, X-Path, X-Query). Experience developing interfaces with Primavera systems (Expedition, P3e). SQL*PLUS, Rational tools, project management tools and construction industry experience.
Working knowledge of PVCS and P3EC.
