Oracle Apps DBA – 11i - Perm Position

Our client in the Mobile area has a permanent position available for an experienced Oracle Apps DBA with Manufacturing Module experience that has recent experience setting up 10g RAC and Grid Control. This is a stable company with a great history of success. Skill requirements include solid knowledge and experience of Oracle Applications and core Application DBA duties with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Must Haves for this role:

·         Oracle Discoverer

·         Oracle Portal

·         Manufacturing Module

This role offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually.

Candidate should have knowledge in the following areas:
* Proficient with Oracle database 10g with RAC and Dataguard
* Thorough knowledge of the Oracle Applications Framework, architecture, and technology stack
* Experience in installation, configuration and support, upgrade of Oracle 11i
* Experience with middle tier architectures (9iAS/10gAS)
* Willingness to provide future direction and guidance on application deployment/support plans is a plus
* Oracle Apps R12 upgrade knowledge is a plus
* Oracle Apps implementation experience is a plus
* Experience in configuring/managing environments with failover/high availability requirements is a plus (load balancing, PCP, RAC, Mirrored Environments)
* Oracle certification(s) preferred
