Major Interactive Media company is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) developer who will have at least five or more (5+) years experience

Responsibilities will include:

• Successful delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and related components.

• Develop BI reporting solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)

• Determine functional report requirements, write functional specifications based on user specifications, develop and publish reports and testing

• Assist with data modeling and query tuning

• Work directly with endpoint data managers (internal and external).

• Communicate and work effectively with team managers and members across all departments.

• Work within a team environment, follow and maintain specifications, guidelines and standards set by the department.

• Strong written/verbal communications skills desired

• Accurately estimate time on projects.

Qualifications :
Must Haves:

-OBIEE -Oracle Warehouse Builder

-AWM (Analytical Warehouse Manager)

Desired Skills:

• OBIEE developer (10.3.x+) with excellent ORACLE/SQL skills

• Experience in installing, configuring, implementing, and deploying OBIEE components

• Experience modeling / building the OBIEE repository layers

• Experience developing reports and dashboards in OBIEE

• Skilled in data warehouse methodology, data analysis and modeling, business intelligence

architectures, report development, ETL development, and database design.

• Understands the concept of data rollups/aggregation, capacity planning, data standardization, slowly changing dimensions, and data security

• Solid understanding of Oracle OLAP 11g/10g and dimensional modeling concepts & techniques; Proficiency in AWM for creating and maintaining cubes

• Proficiency in Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) 11g/10g; Experience with repository development and process flows is a must

• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional database concepts.

• Experience working in an Oracle database environment and PL/SQL (preferably 10g/11i)

• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

• Ability to communicate effectively - both verbal and written communication.

• Flexible work hours, capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• Prior experience of Siebel Analytics is a definitive plus.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies a plus.

• System modeling using UML a plus

Education Requirements

• B.A/B.S. (B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field required) Experience Level

• Senior-level (5+ years experience)
