Job Title: Sr. Software Developer (C# / Java)

Our client is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team. This is a permanent, full time position located in Tampa, FL.  This position will be responsible for developing complex software business applications to be implemented across a broad range of production environments. The ideal candidate will be results-driven and able to diagnose problems and develop solutions.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field

·         3-5 years of current C# experience is required: VS 2008, .Net Framework 3.5, ASP.Net, ADO.Net

·         3-10 years of current or recent experience developing business applications using Java/J2EE technologies; client is currently working on Java 5 and moving to Java 6

·         Strong skills in WebForms; WinForms are also preferred

·         Experience with small and large scale development projects

·         Experience in hybrid development: Client Side (Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB) and Server Side (C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net) development

·         Experience with XML/XSLT, Web Services, JSF, AJAX, Hibernate

·         Strong skills with MS SQL server 2005/2008 databases

·         Strong knowledge of Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC)

·         Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies

·          Technical writing experience (requirements documents, testing plans, design documents, etc.)

·         Experience with software project planning

·         Experience leading small project teams

·         Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

·         J# experience

·         GWT

·         Classic ASP, JavaScript, HTML
