We are currently recruiting for the position of Oracle DBA.  This position will be supporting the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Duties, Skills, Experience:

1-3 years of experience with in depth knowledge of Oracle 9i and 10g Server administration

Good understanding of Oracle design, architecture, security & performance tuning

Experience using RMAN, OEM, SQL and PL/SQL

Ability to diagnose and correct problems such as, but not limited to: errors caused by program faults, system resource limitations and database configuration settings

Production support experience supporting a 24x7 production environment

Good skills in automation (shell scripting) and documentation

Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team member

Certification in Oracle 9i or higher is highly desired

Working knowledge of SQL Server will be a plus

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a citizen and be able to hold a security clearance. You do not need a current/active clearance to apply, but must be able to pass a government security background investigation.
