Location : Pasadena / Pleasanton, CALIFORNIA Duraiton : 1+year No.Of Position : 3 Job Responsibility Responsible for database administration of the OPPR Oracle database. Initially, several standalone databases will be created in a non-production environment along with some parent (mother goose) databases. In future, the production environment will be built out and once the system goes live, production support for the production databases will need to be provided. Skills Required 1. The Oracle DBA will need to have at least 3 years of database administration experience 2. At least 1 year of solid experience with Oracle including Oracle Embedded and Oracle Data Guard 3. Must have good working knowledge of UNIX and Linux operating systems with preferably systems administration. 4. Work experience in web-based environments is a must. 5. The individual must have worked as an Oracle DBA in an application environment which uses web-based technologies such as Java, any of the standard webservers and preferably, Weblogic 6. Basic certification in Oracle technologies is required.
