Position Description:
The successful candidate will be supporting existing staff with all mission/business critical databases in an enterprise level environment. This will be a heavy Oracle environment with some SQL Server Databases as well.
Position Requirements:
· BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience required
· 8+ years of enterprise-level Oracle DBA experience with recent focus in 9i and 10g
· Very strong knowledge of SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008
· Strong proficiency in logical and physical Database design
· Good experience with Data Consolidation and Migration involving multiple RDBMS and flat files
· Strong sub-system tuning, SQL performance tuning and installs/configurations
· Must be proficient working in Windows, UNIX and AIX
· Experience using RMAN, Data Guard, OEM grid control, SQL plus and Oracle Enterprise Manager
· Proficiency with SQL Packages, automated and stored procedures, functions, triggers, queries, and scripts
· Data Warehouse and Data Mart experience
· Must be able to pass extensive background check and pre-employment drug screen
