Keane currently seeks a Oracle DBA to join our team in Albany, NY. The Oracle Database Administrator will be assigned to one or more project teams and be responsible for providing expert services in database administration including database design and development, logical data modeling, working on large scale system and data integration projects involving data from custom built and packaged software, designing and developing Data Stores and Ad-hoc reporting databases, developing policies and procedures supporting data administration and data integration, and acting as liaison between the project team(s) and Database Management Group. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated work experience which includes Oracle 10g, Oracle Warehouse Builder, ER Studio, Rational suite, GIS, Optim and Business Objects/Web Intelligence in a UNIX / AIX environment. Qualified candidates must have: • Eight years experience in logical database design and modeling, incorporating data normalization and referential integrity enforcement techniques. • Eight years experience using data modeling tools, e.g. CA AllFusion Erwin Data Modeler and Model Manager (Version 3.5 & higher) or Embarcadero ER/Studio. • Eight years experience in designing Operational Data Stores, Ad-Hoc reporting databases, or Data Marts and developing ETL processes using Oracle Warehouse Builder. • Required Skills: Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX (AIX, Solaris, or HP-UX), Unix Shell Scripting (KSH, CSH, or Perl), SQL*loader, Oracle Warehouse Builder. • Certified Oracle Database Administrator (10g or greater) This is a full-time salaried position with Keane.
