Monitors overall standards and procedures, assists in integrating various systems. Consults with users, determine requirements and recommends database establishment and utilization. Qualifications: 5+ years experience with Oracle DBA supporting Oracle databases in high availability UNIX environments 2+ years experience  with performance tuning, capacity planning, disaster recovery planning and testing 2+ years experience with Sun Solaris, Linux and/or IBM AIX platforms 2+ years experience with Oracle Corporation tech support 2+ years experience with UNIX scripting 1+ years experience with RMAN Prior experience working within a managed services environment preferred Experience with  ASM, OIM, OEM Grid and/or RAC desired Bachelors in computer science or related discipline or equivalent exp Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere:  equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V   UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
