This position is located in our VA, Chantilly facility



- The engineer shall provide engineering and integration of Computer Network Defense system (CNDS) components to introduced/transition and support CND components and capabilities to the analyst (Enterprises Operations).

- Integration work includes planning and analysis, installation and configuration of Oracle 10g Databases, RAC, and familiarization with Storage Area Network Systems (SANs), Linux, Solaris.

- The Oracle engineer shall participate in design reviews, readiness activities and control gates to ensure operation usage concerns are properly addressed and communicated.

*This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Highly desirable for the candidate to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Oracle DBA Certification.

- The candidate must have hands-on experience with Oracle 9i, 10g, RAC, and Oracle security components. In addition the ideal candidate should have also a working understanding of Oracle Data Vault technology, Computer Network Defense, the ability to develop and integrate PERL and other scripting languages.

- Three years experience in implementing and engineering Oracle database solutions, familiarization with integration of CND components into complex enterprise environments.

In addition the ideal candidate would have also have back office experienced with the correlation and processing of IDS and CND data, such as Oracle DBMS skills, and to include experience with routers, Virtual Private Networks, (VPN) and possibly Storage Area Network (SAN).
