Role Summary/Purpose
The Senior Systems IT Analyst - Oracle ERP RTS analyst serves as a technical expert on assigned area's IT applications, including code, interfaces, and data flows. In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance of application programs & interfaces, as well as coordinating with project teams and business analysts to translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage the Readiness To Support (RTS) and Implementation (IMPL) aspects of the eBuy To Pay PO Development Team
Maintain peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, etc.) to support effective implementations
Support Oracle Applications including PO, iProcurement, Cash Management, iSupplier Portal and a collection of support apps including Right Fax (Open Text), Appworx, PVCS, GXS Enterprise, Applimation and others
Work with Oracle Support and Development teams, GE DBA Team, PMO, Functional Leaders for Suppliers, Purchasing and AP. Also work with Business Leaders, Black Belts and Quality Leaders and other support teams
Manage tickets and triage issues that have not been resolved by other support teams
Work with the software vendors to resolve issues that impact GE applications listed and process the fix (code or patch) once the root cause has been isolated
Responsible for Load Testing the application on software release cycles or when necessary due to patches, technology or hardware changes
Responsible for Annual Disaster Recovery testing and the support of all necessary certification requirements i.e. Sox and Banking regulations
Manage RTS and IMPL team consultants who are working on shore or off shore; Take an active role in resolving any unplanned production outages, by contacting Oracle Support, opening Tars, and suggesting troubleshooting steps to restore production
Lead a team of up to 10 individuals
Will design & develop customizations and extensions in Oracle Application Framework
Will implement third party application intergration
Qualifications/Requirements
5+ years in Oracle ERP development and implementations
5+ years in Oracle RDMS (10g or higher)
5+ years project management experience
5+ years of experience developing a high level of proficiency in multiple programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, and storage ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

The Corporate Information Services Organization serves both the Corporate function and all GE businesses. Some GE-wide applications managed by CIS are Oracle HR, SSS, Benefits, SSO, InsideGE, and GE.com; CIS is responsible for some of the most heavily used applications in GE.
The CIS Shared Sourcing Services team specifically is responsible for the SSS Buy to Pay system, a global application used by all GE businesses in over 30 countries. SSS Buy to Pay is an Oracle ERP platform including iProcurement, Purchasing, Payables, Supplier Portal, Cash Management, and other Oracle support modules. Our team of approximately 200 (including contractors) is dispersed across the globe.
