Role Summary/Purpose As the Oracle ERP Operations Team Leader & Systems Analyst you will be the technical expert on assigned area�s applications, including code, interfaces and data flows. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of application programs & interfaces, and will coordinate with project teams and business analysts to translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.
Essential Responsibilities Apply your command of multiple programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and interfacing Maintain peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, etc.) to support effective implementations Lead a team of up to 10 individuals
Qualifications/Requirements 5+ years experience on the Buy To Pay Cycle in Oracle ERP (Implementation and/or Production Support) 5+ years experience as technical or Architecture lead in Buy To Pay Oracle ERP Implementations 3+ years experience in System Administration- which includes monitoring the Java Mailer and Queues 3+ years project management experience ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Please submit your application for employment through GECareers.com to be considered 18 years of age or older Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process Willing to work out of an office in Visteon Village, Wayne County, Van Buren Township (near Ann Arbor / Detroit) Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Desired Characteristics 4+ years experience leading onshore and offshore teams Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical IT field 2+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS 10g (or higher) 3+ years experience in Performance Tuning Knowledge of AOL related setups, KFF and DF, chart of accounts, profile creations Knowledge of 3rd party tools (170 systems, Appworx, Rightfax and Enterprise) Understanding of accounting and accounting flow (moving from Receiving to Invoicing to Payments to Reconciliation) 3+ years experience in Oracle Apache services and configuration of environment files Knowledge of process flow and setups involved in various Purchasing, Accounts Payables, General Ledger and Cash Management 3+ years experience in debugging - developing PL / SQL blocks and shell scripts Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities Strong team player � collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources; has experience working with others on a global basis; applies knowledge to coach and mentor others Demonstrated customer focus � evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans Change oriented � actively generates process improvements ; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordinglyCorporate Information Services (CIS) is a dynamic, global team focused on providing IT leadership to GE Corporate Components and GE company wide applications.
