Oracle/ETL Software Engineer

Working within the Information Technology Services(ITS) - Operations and Support Applications team to maintain and support corporate applications. |
| | Daily Responsibilities | The software engineer candidate should have experience with full life cycle development and be able to show his/her ability to support multiple applications simultaneously. A successful candidate will have the aptitude and experience required to solve complex issues and the ability to learn quickly. Candidate should be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge of programming languages, technologies, architecture, and/or platforms.
Experience in the areas of relational database development (Oracle, SQL*Server, MS-SQL, PL/SQL), COTS product integration, Business Intelligence tools. Knowledge of Sharepoint, .NET and Java development,Informatica, and BMC Remedy is a plus. Operating Systems: Windows, Solaris Unix
Hardware: Unix, PC
Software: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MS Office Suite (MS-Word and MS-Excel) and exposure to Configuration Management and Defect Tracking tools.
Other languages and products:
Web development tools /components - Java, HTML, WebLogic, Tomcat, Web PL/SQL, JBoss, etc.
Business Intelligence tools - Cognos BI, Business Objects
