Big-company reach, small-company attitude! AAI Corporation, an operating unit of Textron Systems, is currently recruiting for an Oracle Ebusiness Suite System Administrator/APPS DBA. Oracle Ebusiness suite database Administrator is responsible for administering the ebusiness suite environment including Applications, database and concurrent tier. Responsible for day-to-day ebusiness suite code migration between test, development and production system, database patching, concurrent processes and managers scheduling, performance monitoring of ebusiness suite including database and underlying operating systems. This role needs good understanding of all aspects of Oracle Ebusiness suite. Oracle ebusiness suite applications Database Administration is one of the primary roles of this position. Responsible to install, configure, patch and maintain oracle ebusiness suite environment. Good understanding of Oracle database backup and recovery processes. Oracle ebusiness suite tuning along with database tuning desired. Should be proficient with Oracle OEM.
Required Skills
Oracle Database 10g Administration required. Knowledge of Oracle EBS 11i Parallel Concurrent Processing, scheduling, security administration including database, Applications users, responsibilities and roles management would be a plus. Should be able to work with developers and functional teams in Test, Development and Production ebusiness suite systems. Should be proficient in Oracle 10g Database backup and restores using RMAN. Prior expeience with Oracle 10g database, Oracle Application Server and Oracle Discoverer 10g would be a plus as well.
Required Experience
Two to three years of hands-on experience with Oracle 10g database with exposure to Oracle 10g RAC and ASM. Any exposure and understanding of oracle EBS Concurrent managers, programs, PCP, forms, functions and menus setups would be a plus. Database User security / role / responsibility administration. Basic programming skills in Unix/Linux shell. User level knowledge of Unix environment at the minimum. Some SQL server knowledge to manage our remedy application / SQL server databases and other SQL server homegrown databases preferred. Exposure to large databases and somewhat better understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems is a plus.
Note: All candidates must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
