Organizational Development Specialist

Summary:
This position is an entry level position responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation and evaluation of the Jo-Ann Manager-In-Training Learning System, Talent Management System and other corporate-wide initiatives. Support the development and delivery of learning solutions to Jo-Ann leaders, teams, work groups and/team members.

Scope:
All leadership and management levels within the SSC/DC/Field. Some travel may be required.

Essential Responsibilities:

*Support timely administration of the Manager-In-Training Learning System, Performance Management, Talent Management and other organization initiatives to drive Team Member
performance. Coordinate leadership development activities and support the implementation of learning solutions.

*Monitor and update project timelines/communication plans, use LMS and other information systems to retrieve data and generate business related reports. Execute communication plans by working with OD team, HR and business partners to create messages, business case proposals, and other documents.

*Apply problem solving concepts to analyze and identify people/process issues, trouble shoot LMS issues related to delivery of learning objects, reporting and curriculum design. Assist in the
coordination of leadership development programs, conduct needs analysis and evaluate outcomes.

*Serve as liaison and key resource for vendor to coordinate 360 feedback tool process, and administration. Support Performance Management transition to SAP.

Education Requirements:

Minimum: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or other business related field

Experience Requirements:

Minimum: Previous experience performing OD functions in Human Resources

Preferred: 2 years OD/Training experience plus instructional design experience

Other Skills or Certifications:

Minimum -Intermediate to Advance proficiency with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Understand use of various analysis tools and how to create business reports/proposals.

Preferred-Knowledge of Learning Management Systems,Project Management Certificate, PHR Certification
