Corrosion Fluid Products Corp. (CFPC) is a well established industrial distributor specializing in engineered, fluid handling products. We represent the leading industry manufacturers of pumps, valves, specialty piping, and sanitary equipment for the process fluid handling industry.

Job Summary:
Sales Engineers at CFPC provide a combination of technical support and sales skills to our customer base, introduces new products, and works to develop new customers within a specified geographical region. The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, securing project take-offs, tracking projects, making product recommendations based on customer application, negotiating and closings sales opportunities as well as other additional tasks as required.

Job Description / Responsibilities:
• Develop thorough technical understanding of products and applications
• Provide solutions to customer’s applications
• Provide technical support to sales team and customer base for daily maintenance requirements as well as extensive project opportunities
• Project Management including: material recommendation; take off & selection; price & prepare proposal, follow order to ensure critical dates are met
• Establish and Confirm terms and conditions with customers
• Meeting sales targets
• Able to Travel throughout sales territory- No overnight travel except for training. 
• Daily reporting of sales activity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, ACT! by Sage



Requirements:
• Mechanical / Industrial Engineering degree is desired but not a prerequisite.
• A self-motivated person with a proven track record is essential.
• Proven success selling into complex sales environments with both business and technical buyers


• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, preferably ACT! by Sage.
• The position requires a strong technical aptitude, strong communication skills, computer literacy, a high sense of urgency, and detailed organization skills.
• Candidates must be able to work within a team organization, multi-task, meet deadlines, and have a positive attitude.
• Drug Screening and Non-Compete contract required.
