Business to Business outside sales for Polk County territory.  No evenings or weekends. Recent college graduates a plus.


 


This is the key position in the Imaging Sales Department, and a critical and important position in the company.  The imaging sales specialist must serve as a role model for professionalism and bring energy, optimism and resiliency to the team.  This person must always maintain a positive attitude and when encountering problems and challenges bring them to your supervisor rather than express frustrations to your fellow workers.  This position requires the basic sales knowledge and a commitment to continue to learn.


 


The sales cycle starts with contact activity, so qualifying, presenting, over-coming objections and closing the sale all follow creating contact with someone with the capacity to buy our products. This position requires a consistent level of personal activity (phone and person-to-person) every day to succeed.  This individual must establish and consistently meet their specific income objectives supported by their personal activity plan, which should be submitted and acted upon each and every quarter.  Failure to meet the necessary activity will assure being short of your income and sales, as well as the company’s sales objective.


 


This position requires meeting or exceeding the assigned sales quota every month.  Meeting quota supports your family, and your particular motivations.  Whether you are motivated by recognition, money, developing expertise, security, stability or achievement, hitting your sales quota is the primary way to meet those needs.  Obtaining quota is a requirement of this position, not an option. 


 


Copier sales require a sales mix of obtaining relative percentages of new customers as well as the upgrade of existing customers.  Most sales people can upgrade existing customers.  Creating the appropriate percentages of “new” customers is the only way to maximize your income, your sales as well as the company’s overall revenues.  Identify, present and meet your prospective new account percentages as well as existing customer upgrades every month to assure success in your position.


 


Interpersonal Skills: The imaging sales specialist must have good follow through and be energetic, optimistic, resilient, assertive, social, expressive, serious-minded, self-reliant, accommodating and positive about people.
