Job Summary:

 Proactively identify customer sales targets to introduce and sell wholesale lubricant and ancillary products generating profitability and viability using technical product expertice in sales, marketing and presentations. Demonstrate sales expertise by actively developing new business plus grow and maintain existing business relations with current accounts in assigned terrritory.

Identify customers needs, follow up on sales calls, proactively utilize cold calling skills and networking opportunities.  Monitor competitors within the business market place to know products and services for which they compete.

Respond timely to customer requests and inquiries in oder to ensure customer satisfaction. Coordinate with other departments as necessary.

Comply with company procedures to provide unmatched excellence in customer service.

 

Requirements:       

High School diplomas or General Education Degree (GED) and 1-2 years business to business sales experience. Experience marketing petroleum  products to mining, construction, automotive, industrial and fleet market segments preferred.

Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing with the ability to be work independently through accountability and sales results.

Must have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance. Late model (less than 6 years old), 4-door business appropriate vehicle required.

 Must not be in a non-compete agreement with current/past employer(s) or business product sales relations.

Must have experience using MS Products such as MS Word and Excel. Experience using ACT or Customer Relationships Management  (CRM) business productivity tool preferred.

 

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with customers, co-works and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Must have the ability to make presentations to outside work groups and coordinate activities as necessary. Must have the ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests on a timely basis.

Organizational skills required to manage new and existing accounts. Must be able to plan and schedule activities over a week.
