Founded in 1980, the Company’s Stanton Carpet & Royal Dutch Carpet branded products are made from wool, wool blend and synthetic fibers and are sold through mid to better end flooring covering showrooms around the US and Canada. Stanton’s product offerings utilize award winning designs and include wall to wall carpet, hall & stair runner, and custom rugs. Stanton is headquartered on Long Island, NY and maintains its own customer service and distribution center in Calhoun, GA. We value the contributions and feedback of our sales associates. Summary of Responsibilities:
Success at Stanton will require an ability to thrive in the field and in front of customers. We need a take ownership person preferably with decorative wall to wall carpet experience. Our terrific sales management team will fully train and support this person throughout. Qualified individuals will possess proven sales success, will travel the territory smartly each week, ability to sell and close multiple programs as well as develop meaningful relationships. Within the Stanton framework, you should be capable of running your own small business.
Responsibilities include;
· Increasing business and sales for existing accounts and developing new ones in new channels
· Weekly travel throughout the VA territory (does not include Northern VA)
· Strong and proven ability to sell and close deals on displays, samples, rolls, advertising, balanced with great and timely service
· Proven ability to foster meaningful, long term business relationships
· Will need to be accessible and flexible at all times
· Identify and develop non traditional opportunities for sales
· Report to NE Regional VP who will work closely with you
Requirements:
Ideally the individual will have experience with decorative wall to wall carpet sales and a drive to succeed. The individual must match the hard working results oriented culture of our company and have a genuine desire for a long term business relationship. Strong computer and email proficiency a must.
