Outside Sales Representative

Florida Tile, one of the nation’s leading tile manufacturers and distributors, is growing and so are the career opportunities it offers!  Three years ago, Florida Tile was acquired by Panariagroup, one of Europe’s largest tile manufacturers and distributors. Panariagroup has invested in plant expansion, new branch openings, and existing branch relocations to strengthen and grow Florida Tile’s share of the US tile market.

Our Miami, FL branch is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to introduce our new and existing product lines to the local market, with an emphasis on growing the commercial market. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships with contractors, designers, architects and other professionals in the construction and remodeling industry. OSRs will drive the top line to meet or exceed sales goals, while maintaining profitability through appropriate pricing and accounts receivable follow-up. This position will be based out of our Miami branch and may require some overnight travel.

The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and goal-oriented. Strong candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of business-to-business sales experience, including experience educating customers on products and usage. Some post-high school education is preferred. Local candidates with relationships with construction and remodeling businesses in the Miami area are preferred. Candidates must have a professional demeanor and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the desire to deliver exceptional customer service. Experience in the floor-covering industry or related building products is a plus. Successful completion of drug test and background/driving record check required.
