Sales Representative – Packaging Machinery & Materials

If you have the skills or raw talent to perform B2B sales to represent the largest independent company that specializes in providing an impressive range of customized and cutting-edge packaging solutions to meet our customers’ unique needs, then you will want to join our team. 

Candidate must be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of customers’ business and establish a value proposition that results in new business. Sales professional will divide time between prospecting and selling to new customers as well as renewing and growing existing revenues for key customers. Majority of time is to be spent in developing new sales opportunities. This position will be located in Salt Lake City, UT and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate must:

· Thrive on the competitive aspects of sales

· Demonstrate success using a consultative, problem-solving selling approach and account strategy development

· Possess the ability to be successful in an environment of continuous improvements and stretch targets

· Possess the ability to sell and manage to all levels of relationships from VP to Warehouse/Shipping Managers

· Possess strong communication and negotiation skills

· Be a team player working closely with customer service, representatives from other business units, and external partners

· Demonstrate a successful track record for prospecting and closing business at all revenue levels (small, medium and large)

· Strong PC skills a plus (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM tools)

· Industrial sales background a plus

· Travel throughout assigned territory required
