What does the NFIB Sales Representative do?

A NFIB Sales Representatives objective is to grow the membership base and revenue in a designated territory.  Since 1943, NFIB Sales Representatives have continually educated small business owners through in person cold calling and by utilizing a success proven sales presentation provided by NFIB.  This is a full-time dedicated outside sales position.

*We have one position open for a business-to-business sales representative.
*All territories are established and assigned.
*A computer based list of prospects is provided by NFIB (cold leads).
*This position is purely business development and some existing account renewals.
*There is no account management after the sale.

The primary objective of the sale is to recruit business owners into an annual membership, which ranges in price. NFIB offers a variety of services and benefits to our members (www.nfib.com/benefits).  The NFIB Membership Representative is only responsible for selling and renewing the annual membership.

NFIB has developed a very effective one-call close presentation that has been used effectively for over 66 years. Calling on prospects provided by the company, you will meet with business owners to discuss their political, regulatory, and taxation concerns, and our recent successes; covering briefly the additional benefits and services we offer.  Membership Representatives can expect to walk in roughly 35 doors a day, make an average of 10 presentations to close roughly 20% of the time.

You inherit existing NFIB members within your territory and you begin renewing these members after roughly three to four months on the job.  Membership Reps. also have the opportunity to earn significant bonuses, which are paid out monthly and quarterly in addition to a one time yearly residual check on your employment anniversary date.
