Advanced Virtual Surveillance is currently hiring for outside field consultants for its Commercial / Small Business division.  As an outside security consultant, you will be required to meet with prospects to recommend products offered by AVS including Monitored Burglar Alarms, Security/Surveillance Cameras, Access Control Systems as well as Audio/Video system including Telephone and Intercom Systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serves customers by selling products; meeting customer needs

• Meet with potential customers to consult them on their needs for their home

• Educate customers on the importance of having a Home Security System

• Generate leads and appointments

• Have good communication and writing skills

• Be able to positively influence home owners on why they should choose AVS

• Build relationship through education, quality and honesty

• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
•  Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
•  Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Self-motivated and well organized
• Customer/People orientated
• Honest and truthful
• Able to adapt, lead and follow
• At least one year of sales experience
• Proper transportation / Phone
• Clear Background (all employees subject to FBI background check)
