Position Responsibilities:
Manage assigned accounts
Develops new business by working in tandem with our inside sales team to solidify relationships and understand customer needs
Leverages satisfied customers to proactively create opportunities for new business
Increase proactive sales
Capture appropriate activity data according to corporate procedure
Assume responsibility for all aspects of the selling cycle, from proposal preparation through management of opportunity pipeline
Supports and promotes use of corporate communication systems and other office processes within the sales department: Outlook, CRM, forecasting/reporting and our time and expense reporting systems
Conducts self and business activities with highest standard of ethical practice
Other duties as assigned
Essential skills and experience:
7-10 years of successful outside sales experience with enterprise technology solutions to the federal government.
Documented experience selling solutions and knowledge of HP and IBM products, in the Automated Testing, Performance and Application Monitoring and IT Governance portfolio.
BA/BS degree preferred
Ability to quickly learn complex enterprise software and hardware technology solutions
Demonstrated understanding of government contracting to include GSA IT schedules and other purchasing vehicles
Knowledge of Government budgets and procurement cycles
Recent experience selling solution service and products into the Federal Government
Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, written and oral communication skills
Ability to listen and hear customer needs and to build a solution around those needs both services and products.
Ability to effectively present, interact and negotiate with all levels of an organization
Skilled at relationship / consultative based sales
Capture appropriate activity data according to corporate procedure
Assume responsibility for all aspects of the selling cycle, from proposal preparation through management of opportunity pipeline

Compensation:
Pay attributed to experience. Compensation has a base salary and commission component.
