P & C COMMERCIAL CASUALTY CLAIMS MANAGER:

About the Job:

Great work environment, where people enjoy coming to work and where people are recognized and appreciated.  Reporting to the V.P. of Claims, this position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial casualty claims (i.e., mostly premises liability and auto), as well the supervision and development of staff.  Managerial experience is preferred but is not required.  Proficiency in assigning and analyzing investigations, evaluating coverage, evaluating liability, determining loss value, and superior negotiation skills are required.  Candidates must also be experienced in legal protocol and in handling cases that are in litigation.  We foster an environment that encourages the professional development of all employees, so managers are expected to constantly train, promote and to discipline staff.  In addition to having managerial responsibilities, this position will have a pending of complex cases.  The successful candidate must help assure compliance with relevant regulatory law and with the company’s contractual and legal obligations.  We prefer a college degree.  If you exercise good judgment and demonstrate professional motivation, if you work well as part of a team, and if you want to work for people that truly recognize and appreciate your contributions, this is the job for you.
