This acute care, not-for-profit, community hospital is dedicated to patient care and customer service. The hospital is located approximately 1.5 hours north of State College in a beautiful rural community. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will assist the supervising Hospitalist in day-to-day patient assessments and care. The PA/NP will work 7 days on and 7 days off on a 7 PM to 7 AM schedule. The NP/PA will report under the Clinical Direction of the Supervising Physician and under the Administrative Direction of the Chief Operating Officer. A current PA Physician Assistant certification or NP Nurse Practitioner certification is required, and one to three years’ experience as a PA/NP.
