We are seeking a Pega Rules Process Commander systems and solutions architect with good experience implementing PegaPRPC as part of a service-oriented architecture for managing dynamic business processes. Candidate must be proficient with the complete Pega implementation cycle, including business process modeling, tool installation, development, testing and deployment. Candidate must be experienced in portal technology and ability to design and implement solutions within this infrastructure. A solid background with integration, including integrating PRPC with web services a plus. Some specific responsibilities include:
-Manage the evaluation, certification, and implementation of new Pega components and new versions of existing components
-Manage the provisioning of new environments for projects according to their timeline
-Partner with the vendor and other internal areas to develop solutions for ongoing or new infrastructure & product issues
-Provide effective, timely 3rd level support for any Pega infrastructure service related issues
-Identify and exploit opportunities to integrate Pega with other core infrastructure or business applications
-Partner with internal areas to refine and improve deployment processes to ensure 1st-time success with new deployments
-Develop and implement short and long-term strategy for the Pega infrastructure that complements business objectives
-Provide support, direction, and mentoring for on-site and off-site staff and/or contractors as required
-Develop and implement strategies for more effective management and monitoring of Pega environments
-Develop effective partnerships with line of business application customers to ensure our service offerings continue to meet their needs
-Assist with supporting and maintaining a Pega Enterprise Class Framework (ECF) that articulates the principles, blueprints, and standards, across the domains of work classes, data models, integration and analytics which are used in the deployment of technology solutions for customers
-Work with business driven project teams to ensure quality and compliance to the ECF by participating in data analysis/design activities and conducting appropriate technical design reviews at various stages during the development life cycle. This includes providing data modeling expertise with both relational (i.e., entity relationship diagrams) and dimensional (i.e., star join schema) modeling techniques.
Requirements --
-Knowledgeable on the internal architecture of Pega and how to most effectively work with its defined logic, flows and traits for processing requirements.
-Strong hands on experience with PegaPRPC, designing class structures, creating rule sets, creating activities, workflows, etc.
- Knowledge on RHEL Linux, JBOSS, SQL 2005, Pega Tracer, SOAP and XML exchange
- An understanding of object oriented principles, web application architecture and enterprise application deployment/integration.
-Effective written, verbal and listening communication skills. This individual will be interacting with all levels of the organization, both IT and business, as well as with vendors
- Strong project planning skills. Identifies those project tasks that are most important and maintains a clear sense of priorities and the larger picture. Anticipates and effectively responds to changes in workload and resource. Works with management to provide input to the planning process.
-Experience in J2EE platform (Java, JSP, Servlets, JMS, EJB) is a plus
-Familiarity with Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, XML, XSD) is a plus
-Familiarity with UML, design patterns a plus
