PHARMACY INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER:

Prestigious Academic Medical Center
located in New England is looking for an I/S Manager. Working very closely with
Pharmacy Administration, you will provide pharmacy leadership for technology
and information systems.  In collaboration with the health care team,
provide the oversight for the assessment, development, implementation and
maintenance of the computerized pharmacy systems.  Ensure optimization of
current technology, and facilitate systems issue resolution.  Provide
oversight for the databases that support the pharmacy information
systems.  Develop, implement, and coordinate pharmacy programs and enhance
the quality of existing services in specialty area.  Serve as an
information resource to other pharmacists and health care professionals, as
well as address the learning needs of the staff.  Is the pharmacy liaison
for associations with information services personnel.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of health care system
experience. The position requires a B.S. in Pharmacy and/or Pharm.D . An advanced
degree (e.g. MS, MBA) would be preferred but not required.  Please contact
