The Senior PHP Architect and Developer will be responsible for the Architecture, analysis and design of front-end applications as well as the user interface coding and integration. Additional responsibilities will include database scripting and manipulation, back-end/server coding and technical issue resolution. The ideal Architect/Developer will be fluent in software development processes and methodology's as well be a well-rounded in internet-based development tools and conversant in modern software engineering concepts. Must have 3+ years of experience with PHP 5, and an in-depth understanding of database concepts and principles (specifically with exposure to MySQL 5.x). Preference is for candidates to have as many of the following preferred, but not required skills, as possible: UNIX or Linux, XHTML/CSS2 and XML, knowledge of standardized MVC development frameworks for PHP such as CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony or Zend. Also, prefer experience with JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, XML, CSS on the LAMP, (Linux/Apache/MySQL/Perl/PHP) platform.
