Summary: Recruits physicians for emergency rooms in client hospitals by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Makes cold calls to physicians to ascertain interest level in working for our company.
- Evaluates physician's credentials, qualifications, education and training, previous experience and availability.
- Sends applications to potential physicians.
- Follows up with physiciains to ensure the application was received and answers any questions.
- Informs potential physicians of available job opportunities, compensation, duties, and responsibilities, and policies and procedures at client hospitals.
- Assist physiciansin updating ACLS, ATLS, and PALS courses.
- Assists physicians in securing transportation to client hospitals when necessary.
- Assists the scheduling department by confirming shifts with physicians.
- Updates and retrieves applicant information in computerized applicant tracking system.
- Evaluates selection and placement techniques by conducting research or follow-up activities and confering with management and supervisory personnel.

Education and.or Experience:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree; or one to two years related experience and/or trainging; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skils:
Ability to read and interpret such as safety rules, opertaing and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Computer Skils:
An individual should have the knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software and the ability to perform research on the Internet when necessary.
Other Skills:
Possess an outgoing personality and an ability to discover personal information in which to converse in order to forge a bond with physicians. Ability to work in a group environment in close quarters.

Excellent base salary plus commission and bonuses
