Reports to: Technical
Lead

Brief Description of position:

As a member of the Technology team, the PL/SQL Developer will
participate in the development and maintenance of all HMS applications, and demonstrate
technical expertise in one or more core technologies.

Primary responsibilities will include:

·         
Coding features
and fixes for components of application releases

·         
Developing
technical knowledge of one or more HMS applications and core technologies

·         
Maintaining and
supporting production applications

·         
Creating and
reviewing software documentation

·         
Participating in
code reviews

·         
Coordination
with Development Manager and Technical Leads

·         
Participating in
evaluation of new technologies and knowledge  transfer

Key Competencies:

·         
PL/SQL design
and development experience

·         
Working
knowledge of Oracle 10G supplied packages and types

·         
RDBMS and
database modeling experience

·         
Experience with
high performance transactional systems

·         
SQL optimization
and tuning experience

·         
Linux or Unix
experience

·         
Code editors and
version control system

·         
OOA/D experience

·         
Test driven development

·         
3 or more years
industry experience

Desired Qualifications:

·         
Experience with
Open-Source technologies

·         
Java and related
technologies

·         
Bachelor’s
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent

·         
Experience
working in a fast paced environment

communication and interpersonal capabilities
