PMO Leader (23196)
Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a PMO Leader to join our team in Providence, RI.
Job Responsibilities: The PMO Leader provides oversight, coaching and mentoring to the project managers supporting our client's projects and internal projects. They create Task Orders working with onsite legal counsel and reconciles the monthly project hours and client billing. They provide weekly status reports to account and client senior leadership. They will be responsible for budget forecasts, tracking actual revenue and expenses to the forecast, and providing variance explanations. They work with PM staff to ensure projects are running smoothly and with the Perot Systems PMO to comply with corporate reporting requirements, roll-out new processes and methodology enhancements to the account PM team, and leverage best practices.
Required Skills: Five to seven years of project management experience At least 2 years of providing leadership to other project managers or managing a PMO Must have experience successfully managing at least two projects with a high degree of complexity and $1.5 million or more in size
Desired Skills: Thorough understanding of industry best practices in the project management area Strong organization skills Solid understanding of financial budgets with at least 1 year of P&L management Strong client relationship skills Strong communication skills At least 2 years performing project management in an applications development and/or IT infrastructure area Experience in healthcare industry is helpful
Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelors or equivalent additional professional work experience in a related field
Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials: PMP
