GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for creating new relationships that result in business opportunities
· Responsible for cold calling new businesses
· Responsible for responding to all leads assigned in a timely and professional manner
· Responsible for growing assigned existing business accounts by assessing client needs and opportunities for growth
· Manages the existing client relationship and handles all necessary related paperwork and changes
· Oversees tracking of client orders and accounts to ensure order accuracy
· Monitors pre-sales and post-sales activities
· Provides the client with a single point of contact approach for account management
· Conforms to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
· Provides client with professional level of support to ensure a high level of client satisfaction in assigned accounts
· Informs management of problems and potential concerns and recommends solutions/rationale
· Attends sales training and sales meetings as scheduled
· Communicates with peers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
· Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
· Observes responsible expense control measures and makes prudent decisions regarding client- related expenses, etc. Designs, markets and executes customized solutions to client needs
· Utilizes corporate-wide account management and planning tools to generate growth within the business accounts
· Provides management with accurate forecasting and/or reporting by account on a timely basis as required
· Generates a minimum of $800,000.00 in new solutions sales revenue annually
· Other job related duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related area or three years progressively responsible experience specific to sales in a technology services environment
· POS – Hospitality experience is strongly desired.
· Ability to drive or have reliable transportation to and from client locations and Corporate or District office
· Administers and maintains contracts during fulfillment.
· Consultative selling skills including an on-going commitment to Miller-Heiman’s Strategic Selling (Blue Sheets) and Conceptual Selling (Green Sheets)
· Demonstrated interest and focus on continuing learning about the trade and the skills required
· Demonstrate a commitment to constantly acquiring new skills and improving on existing skills
· Demonstrated advanced understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape & state of the art technology in markets of focus
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Ability to calculate figures
· PC proficient; familiarity with MS Office productivity applications
· Commitment to understanding and updating Salesforce.com per business requirements
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
· Ability to effectively present information & respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and general public
· Ability to transport a laptop and other presentation equipment
· Ability to conduct structured, effective oral sales presentations of solutions offerings
· Demonstrated understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and state of the art technology in a distributed computing environment
· Demonstrate an understanding of industry tools and technologies
