General Purpose:

Our client has a need for an RPG programmer for approximately 60 to 90 days to assist with the maintenance, enhancement, do new development of current applications and complete some small projects.  The RPG applications will tie in to an ERP system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
  Gather functional requirements from end users
  
  
• 
  
  Enter into a new environment and quickly come up to speed on applications to do enhancements and modifications
  
  
• 
  
  Troubleshooting

Requirements:

• 
  
  3+ years of RPG experience, specifically with RPG IV (ILE)
  
  
• 
  
  Solid experience both with maintenance and new development of applications using RPG IV
  
  
• 
  
  Knowledge of libraries and experience gathering requirements
  
  
• 
  
  Work experience in a manufacturing environment would be a plus, but not required

Terms:

This project is estimated at 60 to 90 days with an hourly rate in the mid $30's/hr.
